FAQs
How do I book an appointment?
I open my books every other month for the next two months.
Before filling out a booking form, please read this FAQ — it covers booking, pricing, deposits, flash, freehand, custom tattoos, and aftercare.
Booking request forms for flash, freehand, and custom tattoos are linked here.
When my books are full, the forms will be disabled.
Only requests submitted through the forms will be considered — no DMs or emails, please.
Once you submit, I’ll get back to you via email within 1–4 days.
To lock in your appointment, a card deposit through Square is required.
Pricing
Minimum: $175
Final cost depends on size, placement, color, and tattoo time.
Multiple small tattoos in one session can be bundled to meet the minimum.
Ballpark estimates are available upon request, but may change after tattooing.
Pricing is tip-free — what you pay at checkout is all that’s owed.
If you’d like to show extra appreciation, I love houseplants, handmade goods, personal art, or other thoughtful gifts.
I can also accommodate your budget — let me know your range in your booking form.
Deposits & Cancellations
Deposits are non-refundable and required to hold your spot:
Half day: $100
Full day: $200
Canceling = deposit forfeited.
To reschedule, use your confirmation email link 48 hours before your appointment.
One reschedule allowed; additional reschedules require a new deposit.
Deposits count toward the final tattoo cost (applied to multi-session pieces as needed).
Deposits help keep us both accountable, prevent no-shows, and protect my time and income.
Flash vs Freehand vs Custom
Flash
Flash designs are pre-drawn pieces I’m excited to tattoo. If you see one you love, send me a screenshot with your booking request. Flash is tattooed as-is (color or black/grey). Want changes? Submit a custom request.
Freehand
Freehand tattoos are drawn directly on your body the day of your appointment — no stencils, just pure flow. Perfect for free-flowing designs that move with your body’s natural contours and shapes.
Got a funky gap in your sleeve? Freehand fills it seamlessly. I draw directly on skin so the design fits you, not just paper. Every piece is one-of-a-kind, made to match your body and your vibe.
Custom
Got an idea you’re stoked on? Take a look through my work first to make sure my style lines up. I’m into psychedelic traditional artwork — bold lines, high contrast, heavy saturation, and funky patterns. I also love ornamental and funkadelic folk-inspired pieces.
Send me a booking request with the key details that matter to you, and let’s make some rad art together.
I would LOVE to tattoo more…
florals (peonies, mums, etc.)
birds, aquatic animals, big cats
bugs, snakes, gators, dragons
freehand / drawn-on designs
abstract black work
ornamental / symmetrical pieces
mind-bending, trippy drippy work
American & Japanese traditional imagery
hand & finger compositions
large-scale projects (pretty please)
Aftercare
Proper aftercare ensures your tattoo heals clean and vibrant. Follow the instructions that match your bandage type.
General Healing info
Tattoos take 3–4 weeks to fully heal.
Flaky scabs will fall off naturally — don’t pick or scratch.
After healing, use SPF whenever the tattoo is exposed to sunlight to protect color and detail.
I suggest Dial gold as an antibacterial soap and either grapeseed oil (for skin, not cooking) or a small amount of aquaphor for moisturizers
Wrap / Soaker Pad
Remove after 12–24 hours (or the next morning). Blurry or gunky lines are normal — excess ink, blood, and plasma will wash away.
Wash gently with clean hands using unscented antibacterial soap (Dial Gold works well) and warm water.
Pat dry or air dry with paper towels — avoid bath towels, washcloths, sponges, or loofahs.
Apply a few drops of grapeseed oil or Aquaphor as needed for 2–4 weeks.
Wear loose clothing to prevent irritation; do not re-bandage.
Flaky scabs will form after a few days — do not pick or scratch. Avoid sun and water for at least 2 weeks.
Derm Shield / Second-Skin Bandage
Remove after 2–3 days. If irritated (redness, itching), remove sooner — no need to rewrap.
During the first couple of days, your skin may release excess ink, blood, and plasma under the bandage. Lines may appear blurry or gunky — this is normal. Once removed and cleaned, it will wash away.
Remove in a warm shower, peeling a corner and letting water run under the bandage.
Wash gently with unscented antibacterial soap, pat dry, and moisturize lightly.
